Description |

The DSR-4 series of regulators
are available in a variety of models to suit the service installation
requirements. Designed for use in distribution systems with pressure
up to 1000kPa and outlet pressure from 1.5kPa to 18kPa.
Capacities to maximum 600㎥/h depending on model, type, connection
size, inlet and outlet pressure. Specially engineered and manufactured
for excellent control of widely varying inlet pressure and fluctuating
flow rates. All models are interchangeable at the throat of the valve
body. Stainless steel vent screen. |

PRINCIPLE
OF OPERATION |
 |
The safety Over pressure cut-off valve is a safety
device that operates when the pressure in the downstream pipe increases
beyond the prefixed values, cutting the fluid automatically.
The safety valve consists in a body, a control casing, a diaphragm
assembly and a cut-off stem group which is controlled by a mechanical
ball system.
The safety Over pressure cut-off valve is actuated when in the lower
regulation diaphragm housing, the downstream pressure value, introduced
by the impulse intake from the downstream pipe, increases or decreases
beyond the values preset, thus moving the diaphragm assembly from
a balanced position, triggering the stem and the valve plug : under
the force of the spring, it closes immediately the orifice, cutting
the flow of the fluid automatically.
